LETTER TO FRIENDS RE SPONSORSHIP
(Please email or copy onto your letterhead and mail. Please feel free to make revisions)

Dear

You may have heard about the 15th International Technology, Meetings and Incentives Conference to be held in Greece on November 6-11, 2005 sponsored by the Connected International Meeting Professionals Association and the Asian Leaders Association.

The conference kicks off with the Athena Awards, Asian Academy Hall of Fame Awards, Certification Awards and CIMPA Honors on November 6 at the magnificent Olympic Stadium in Athens. On November 7, we embark on a cruise of the fabulous Greek islands for a unique, results-driven educational program at sea. We will have conversations on various issues that keep us awake at night as well as plan for business opportunities with each other.

That is the reason why I am sending this personal letter to you. I would like to talk to you about how we can start a profitable partnership with each other as well as other selected participants who will be on board this cruise. As you know there are many challenges facing us in this industry today. I would like to sound off some ideas and get some of yours to help us all survive and prosper. The conference is designed such that conversations like this are the focus of the program.

Among the expected outcomes of this conference is a global network of meeting and incentive planners and association movers and shakers focused on helping people better understand and help each other. In the process, we expect to see closer bonds of friendship being formed. While we believe this will result in more business, we also believe this will give more meaning to the work we do and contribute significantly to peace and harmony in the world.

If you are not able to come, I would like to ask you to help by sponsoring the conference. $2000 will enable a qualified participant from a developing country to attend the meeting. A $5000 sponsorship will allow 3 of them to attend. You will get a personal letter from each of these potential buyers and you will be duly recognized at the conference as well as in the promotional materials we are constantly sending out.

We are also looking for a Gold Sponsor of $10,000 and a title sponsor of $50,000 which will be awarded a major package of recognition and promotional opportunities for the next 5 years. Yes – your name will be in this conference for the next 5 years when we expect to get demonstrable results from this effort. But your most important reward will be knowing that you have contributed to the initial development of a practice that gives meaning to meetings and incentives and contributes to peace and harmony in the world.

The complete conference information is at www.cimpa.org/itmic2005.htm

I certainly hope you can help me in this mission. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or call me

Warm regards,
