I am writing to ask for your help in getting the word out and soliciting nominations for the Asian Academy Hall of Fame Awards to be held at the magnificent Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece on November 6, 2005. This will be followed by a cruise conference sponsored by the Asian Leaders Association on November 7-11. The cruise will visit Mykonos, Santorini, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and Kusadasi (Turkey).

Asians have made significant contributions to the United States and the world. It is time we stand up and be recognized, not just by our own ethnic communities but by the larger mainstream community.

The mission of the Academy of Asian Leaders (AAL) is to discover, detail and disclose the significant achievements and contributions of Asians around the world. "AAL will preserve, teach, research and make available for advanced inquiry and public awareness all of the records of significant achievements of Asians. The Academy also serves as a forum for research, discussion, and analysis of the significant contributions that Asians make to the world".

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: September 15, 2005
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
1. Candidate or candidate's parents must have been born in an Asian country
2. Demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in his/her area of expertise
3. Outstanding record of volunteer services in the community

COST:
In order to make this affordable, I have asked the sponsors to waive your registration fee and charge us only the exact cost of the trip. That is US $550 for the Olympic Stadium event, 4-night cruise to Mykonos, Santorini, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and Kusadasi including all seminars, materials, meals, events, conversations, consultations and accommodations on double occupancy. (Port fees not included).
